The problem

You know something is wrong.

You have been searching for months. Every answer leads to another question.

You have read everything.

Tried everything. And you still can't put a name to what's happening.

Something shifted.

You can feel it. But nobody has explained it to you clearly.

You are doing everything right.

The information exists. It was just never organized for you to find it.

You are not failing. The information is failing you.

Women represent half the global population — and by 2030, 1.2 billion of us will be in menopause worldwide. In 2020 only 5% of global medical research funding went to women's health — and most of that went to fertility and cancer. Perimenopause received almost nothing.

There is no global standard for perimenopause education in medical training. Too many women leave their doctor's office with no answers to the problems or the symptoms they are experiencing — because perimenopause is not a gynaecological condition. It is not in one place in your body. It is whole body, whole life. And medicine is still catching up.

What you're going through has never been made visible. Until now.

Because no two women go through this the same way.

Your genetics, your age, your ethnicity, your heritage and your lifestyle — all of it shapes how perimenopause shows up for you. You will not have the same symptoms as the woman next to you. You will not respond to the same information the same way. That's why understanding your own journey matters more than a generic checklist.

Perimenopause can start in your mid 30s or well into your 40s — and whenever it begins, it shows up across your whole body. From fatigue and brain fog to joint pain, hair loss, mood changes and vaginal dryness — not just in one place.

So we built something the system never did.

You deserve to understand what is happening in your body.

Perimenopause is not a generic symptom. Our journeys are different, and you deserve to understand yours. Every woman who maps her experience adds to a bigger picture — making perimenopause visible, symptom by symptom, at a scale it has never been seen before.

For you.

A personalised perimenopause report built from your answers — your symptoms, your history, your body. A tool you can take into your next doctor's appointment, your next conversation, your next decision. One that tells you where you are, what it means, what you might need, and exactly what to ask next. Because a woman who walks in prepared is a woman who gets heard.

For all of us.

Every evaluation you complete adds one more data point to the first global perimenopause map — anonymous, cross-cultural, and growing. Your experience makes the next woman's path clearer. Every woman who adds her experience brings us closer to the most complete picture of perimenopause ever built.

No generic advice. No hot flash checklists. Your data, your report, your next step.

Not sure it's already perimenopause? Take our free perimenopause evaluation and find out.

What we stand for

01

No one stays alone with her story.

Every experience entered into the map makes another woman's path visible. Together, we create the connection where there was a gap in the global data.

02

Every woman has the right to be taken seriously.

Your symptoms are not anecdotes. Aggregated, they become evidence strong enough to change how medicine sees you. We treat your story as the data it always was. Because we believe you.

This is what optimising women's health looks like.

“We built weperimeno because we believe every woman should be equipped — with her data, with the right questions, and with the confidence to push back, ask for more, or find a doctor who actually listens.”

Désirée Melusine and Kaja Otto
Co-founders at weperimeno

weperimeno is a non-profit FemTech platform mapping perimenopause symptoms globally — across age, ethnicity, heritage, lifestyle and health history — building the first centralised, cross-cultural data map of perimenopause symptoms at scale. We enable women to understand their own perimenopause journey through personalised data and a report built uniquely for them. And we transform how women move through perimenopause — prepared, informed, ready to discuss with their doctors and no longer alone.

Every woman who completes her evaluation adds one anonymous data point to a growing global picture — connecting symptoms, experiences and health histories across countries, cultures and ethnicities to understand the full web of perimenopause as it has never been mapped before.

Behind every report, a growing library of the most recent research, data, latest findings and clinical knowledge — ready for women to explore at their own pace, to get truly informed.

If you believe perimenopausal women deserve better — join us. We are looking for researchers, universities, hospitals, femtech companies, partners, sponsors and community builders ready to be part of the revolution.
