Privacy Policy

Operated by Aizulgacy LLC — Last updated September 2026

1. Who we are

weperimeno.com is operated by Aizulgacy LLC. We are the data controller responsible for your personal data collected through this website. If you have any questions about this privacy policy or how we handle your data, contact us at info@weperimeno.com.

2. What data we collect and why

When you complete the weperimeno personal symptom evaluation we collect the following:

  • Your email address — used only to send you your personal results page link and the weperimeno newsletter if you subscribe. It is never sold, shared or used for advertising.
  • Your evaluation answers — including your year of birth, country of residence, heritage, menstrual cycle status, symptoms, medical history, healthcare access and open text responses. This data is stored anonymously — your email address is the only link between your identity and your answers.
  • Your calibration score — calculated automatically from your answers at the time of submission.
  • Your follow-up question — if you choose to answer the optional question on your results page, your response is stored linked to your evaluation row.

We collect this data for the following purposes:

  • To generate your personal results page and send it to you.
  • To build the first global anonymous data map of perimenopause to support medical research.
  • To improve and personalise our educational content and resources.
  • To send you the weperimeno newsletter if you subscribe.

weperimeno is a non-profit organisation. Your data is never used for commercial purposes. It exists only to build the most complete global picture of perimenopause and support the women who contribute to it.

3. The legal basis for processing your data

Under GDPR we process your data on the following legal bases:

  • Your explicit consent — you provide this by ticking the consent checkbox before submitting the evaluation. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us at info@weperimeno.com.
  • Legitimate interests — we process anonymised aggregated data to build the global perimenopause data map and improve our educational resources.

Your health and symptom data is special category data under GDPR Article 9. We collect it only with your explicit consent and store it with appropriate technical and organisational security measures.

4. How we store your data

Your data is stored securely in Supabase — a cloud database provider with data centres in the European Union. Supabase processes data in accordance with GDPR. A data processing agreement is in place between Aizulgacy LLC and Supabase.

Your personal results page is accessible only through a unique private link sent to your email address. It is not indexed by search engines and cannot be found or accessed by anyone else.

5. Who we share your data with

We do not sell your data. We do not share your personal data with third parties for advertising purposes.

We share data only with the following service providers who process it on our behalf under strict data processing agreements:

  • Supabase — database storage and infrastructure.
  • Brevo — email delivery and CRM. Your email address and anonymised evaluation tags are shared with Brevo to send you your results email and newsletter.
  • Vercel — website hosting and infrastructure.

All service providers are required to process your data only for the purposes we specify and in accordance with GDPR.

Your symptom and evaluation data is shared in aggregated anonymous form only — never individually identifiable — for research and reporting purposes.

6. How long we keep your data

We keep your evaluation data for as long as your account is active or until you request deletion. Your email address is kept for as long as you remain subscribed to the weperimeno newsletter.

If you request deletion of your data we will remove it within 30 days.

7. Your rights

Under GDPR you have the following rights:

  • The right to access — you can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • The right to rectification — you can ask us to correct any inaccurate data.
  • The right to erasure — you can ask us to delete your personal data at any time.
  • The right to restrict processing — you can ask us to limit how we use your data.
  • The right to data portability — you can request your data in a portable format.
  • The right to withdraw consent — you can withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
  • The right to lodge a complaint — you have the right to complain to your national data protection authority. In Portugal this is the CNPD — cnpd.pt.

To exercise any of these rights contact us at info@weperimeno.com.

8. Cookies

weperimeno.com uses essential cookies only — required for the website to function. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. A cookie consent banner is displayed on your first visit.

9. Children

weperimeno.com is not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

10. Changes to this policy
